How to use a Daruma doll
-
Make a wish.
Wishes can be specific to be completed or vague as a reminder to continuously improve.
-
Paint one eye.
Painting in any eye is fine, but it's recommended to paint from the left eye from the Daruma's point of view.
-
Work towards goal.
Daruma is a physical manifestation of your goal and wishes. It’s in your hands to commit to change or to leave it in the hands of fate.
-
Once goal or wish becomes reality, paint in other eye
The drawing of both eyes signifies giving life and soul to the Daruma which means life and soul to your wish. Congratulations!
